The entry level system the V500 offers both IP (Internet) and ISDN video calls. The Internet calls can run up to 768Kbps but can also work very well on a standard ADSL internet connection. Moving up to the VSX5000, new from Polycom offering higher quality in the demanding SME market. This unit has a new digital Pan/Tilt/Zoom camera and delivers 768Kbps over IP (Internet) and 128Kbps or up to 512Kbps over ISDN. Add a 32" TFT and stand and you have a very cost effective portable video conferencing unit.

Things start to get more serious with the VSX7000s, offering 2Mbps over IP (Internet) and up to 512Kbps over ISDN, this unit can accomodate the medium to large conference room. Quality and connectivity allows for expansion with extra cameras, video recorders, document cameras and data presentation. Add a 42" Plasma screen and stand and this unit gives everything you would ever need out of a set top unit. The multi-party 3 + 1 option is also available.
From conference room to boardroom, the VSX7000e has all the function of the VSX7000s except its charateristics align with larger more expensive boardroom solutions. The rack mount unit offers calls at 2Mbps over IP (Internet) and 512Kbps over ISDN, and the seperate camera offers superior quality and full Pan/Tilt/Zoom features. Fully integrates with AV control systems such as Crestron and AMX. Multi-party option is also included (3 + 1).
The Ultimate in boardroom integration offering full function and multiple input and outputs the VSX8000 leads the industry. All the specification of the other sytems with the addition of integrated high quality speaker system, dual microphone and professional connectivity standards. For AV integration into the high end boardroom, this unit is hard to beat.
